Developer History: Melee Development

Melee Development is a pioneering real estate firm established in 2023, emerging as a heavyweight partnership between Al Ahly Sabbour Developments (one of Egypt’s oldest and largest developers) and Mr. Gasser Bahgat, a prominent industry veteran.

• The Vision: Melee was created with a specific focus on "Branded Residences" and integrated mixed-use projects. Unlike traditional developers, Melee integrates hospitality and lifestyle from the ground up, partnering with global giants like Marriott International.
• Capital & Assets: The company launched with a capital of approximately EGP 100 million and manages an asset portfolio valued at over EGP 30 billion.

Nmq (pronounced Namwa, meaning "Growth" or "Ascension") is a 66-acre (approx. 277,000 $m^2$) lifestyle destination. The master plan is divided into a 32-acre commercial "Strip Mall" and a 34-acre residential sanctuary.

• The Design: Created in collaboration with international firms Chapman Taylor (Exterior) and Benoy (Master Planning), with interior designs by Naga Architects.
